The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our community's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks related to the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a study counselor in native language for our healthcare education within adult education. The assignment involves providing linguistic and subject-specific support to students studying healthcare and social services. You will guide students in their native language in combination with Swedish, focusing on strengthening their understanding of the educational content and helping them achieve their goals. The student groups are small, and the guidance is tailored to the individual needs and prior knowledge of the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Dari, Tigrinya, or Somali. It is advantageous if you have education and experience in healthcare and social services, as the guidance takes place within a healthcare education. Work within adult education requires flexibility but also provides great opportunities to influence how the assignment is carried out. We believe you are a person who sees possibilities in every student and who, with sensitivity, dialogue, and tailored support, can contribute to the students' development. Since we work with adult individuals, a flexible and respectful approach is essential for success in the assignment.
